Twentynine Palms Tennis Lady Cats win in home opener against Big Bear

The Twentynine Palms High School Girls Varsity Tennis Team had their home opener against Big Bear High School on Wednesday (August 23). 

The Lady cats dominated the Bears 15 to 3.  In singles action, Katelyn Luke and Aviana Lipkins each swept all three of their sets while Tomi Toyama won her set.  In doubles action, the teams of Marley Kyle/Addy Simmons and Tomi Toyama/Kairi Scott each won both of their sets.

The team of Chloe Adams/Savanna Villapuadua won one set. The team of Chloe Adams/ Zamyaa Abrille won one set.  The teams of Ca’rrie Bell/Amarah Banerjee and Maryam Langdon/Mary Harris each won one set.  The Lady cats are 1-0.  Their first league match will be on Sept 5 at home against Cathedral City and on September 7 at home against Banning.
