Twentynine Palms Planning Commission agenda: Chair appointments and study sessions

The first item is the selection of the Planning Commission Chair and Vice Chair. Currently, Max Walker, who was appointed in 2018, is the Chair and Jessica Cure, who was appointed in 2023, is Vice Chair.

There will be a Study Session as part of the overall review and update of the Development Code. Planning staff is conducting a series of workshops on Article 5 to correct any errors or inconsistencies in the Code. The Planning Commission will review the material and provide directions to Staff.

The Commission will also study a Maintained road list, which every City and County within the State of California is required to have and which needs to be updated from time to time. The City inherited its Maintained Road List from the County of San Bernardino when the City incorporated in 1987. Since that time several developments have occurred, along with upgrades to existing roads.

Located at the Twentynine Palms City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, the meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. and the Public is most welcome to attend.
