Twentynine Palms Ladycats Volleyball sweep Desert Hot Springs last night

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycats volleyball teams swept the Desert Hot Springs Eagles at home last night (September 23).  In JV action, the cats won 25-18 and 25-22.  Anisa Youso was big at the net with four kills and had two ace serves.  Madison Critchfield  had two kills.  Emma Avalos served up four aces and Mariah Coriaarmenta served up three ace serves.

The Varsity cats won 25-13, 25-17, and 25-14.  Senior Kyla Palpallatoc led the Ladycats with eight kills and had seven assists.   Junior Lindie Stewart put down five kills, served up four aces, and had two assists.  Senior Olivianne Ryan had three kills, three ace serves and two assists for the night.  Junior Jenica Silvas played solid defense on the left, had four ace serves and three kills.  Senior Heaven Fenstermaker served up two aces, and had one kill.  Senior Carolyn Morning had one ace, one kill and four assists.  Senior Myasia Turner had one kill for the night.  The Ladycats are now 6-2 in league and travel to Indio on Tuesday (September 26) to take on the undefeated Arabs.
