Twentynine Palms invites residents to join the Holiday Light Tour

Twentynine Palms residents, get ready to illuminate the holidays. Participation is free and open to all within city limits. Decorate your home’s exterior with dazzling lights, creative themes, and holiday magic.

When registering on the website, you can choose how you’d like to participate. You can Register your address for the community’s self-guided tour or register for the competition. The Judging will take place on December 17 and 18 at 6:00 p.m.

For the best chance to win, participants in the judged competition must ensure their decorations, lights, and animatronics are operational during the judging times. Judges will view the displays from the street during a “drive-by” assessment, and there are prizes for first–, second-, and third-place winners.

After a long successful career as a Photostylist and producer in New York and Los Angeles, Hilary Sloane moved to the Morongo Basin and began a new career as a journalist and documentary photographer, getting a journalism certification from Michigan State. Hilary is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) and has documented the work of local and International non-profits. She has a podcast on Sound Cloud and is looking forward to adding more. Her favorite pastime is watching the wildlife around her home, traveling, and meeting new people.
