The Twentynine Palms High School JV and Varsity girls volleyball teams battled Indio yesterday (September 16). While both teams played well, the JV team lost to the Rajas in 2 games (20-25 and 16-25) and the Varsity ladycats lost in 3 games (17-25, 21-25, and 14-25). The Ladycats are now 3-2 in league and will host the Trojans on Monday (September 20).
JV highlights: The Ladycats JV volleyball team lost in 2 to Indio last night 20-25 and 16-25. Jadyn Bauer had one ace serve, and three assists. Shakinah Dowell had two kills and three aces. Lindie Stewart had one kill and five aces. Way to work until the end ladies.
Varsity highlights: Mya Bullion and Gabby Wunderlee each had one kill. Gianna Bilderain had 1 kill and 9 digs. Hailee Jenkins had 2 kills and 1 ace serve. Leah Engesser had 4 kills. N’Taiya Youso had 1 kill, 1 ace, 1 assist, and 1 solo block. Kyla Palpallatoc had 1 assist, 3 aces, 5 kills, and 13 digs. Itzel Solorio had 1 kill, 2 assists, 4 aces, and 16 digs. Alana Gutierrez had 14 digs. Kaelina Palpallatoc had 6 assists. Jenica Silvas had 3 assists and 7 digs for the night.
