Twentynine Palms City Council will re-appoint two Planning Commissioners at Tuesday’s meeting (2/11)

On Tuesday night (2/11) the Twentynine Palms City Council will face a light agenda of Planning Commission appointments and possibly assisting a local aid organization with monthly funds.

Tueday’s Twentynine Palms City Council meeting will kick off with a presentation by the San Bernardino County DAs office on Proposition 36 followed by a report on the Holiday Art Faire by Cathy Snodgrass – an event made possible by a Community Events grant.

Following a recommendation from the City Council subcommittee, council will officially reappoint Leslie Paahana and Jim Krushat to the Planning Commission.

Council will then consider a temporary monthly funding of Hope Project, an effort born out of CLEP, Community Learning and Equipping Project, a Twentynine Palms-based organization that assists vulnerable residents through education and food distribution.The meeting takes place on Tuesday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road.
