Troy Reynolds hit-and-run hearing pushed to September

The hit-and-run case from last year faces its tenth delay in court.

Troy Reynolds, the suspect in a hit-and-run collision that killed a Yucca Valley teenager last year, returned to court on Tuesday for a Pre-Preliminary Hearing.

District Attorney Jason Guetzlow and Defense Attorney James Rogan were also in attendance. Additional time was requested before the Preliminary Hearing; Judge Sarah Oliver scheduled a Pre-Preliminary Hearing for September 10 and a Preliminary Hearing for September 11. The Court ordered the Preliminary Hearing scheduled for August 28 vacated.

Troy Reynolds is charged with Felony Hit and Run Resulting in Permanent Injury or Death; he is currently out on $500,000 bail.
