TPHS GIRLS JV AND VARSITY VOLLEYBALL TEAMS LOSE TO COACHELLA VALLEY

The Twentynine Palms High School Ladycat Varsity and JV volleyball teams traveled to Coachella Valley to take on the Arabs Monday. Despite hard-fought games, JV lost in 3 games (25-23, 19-25 and 10-15) and Varsity lost in 5 games (14-25, 25-20, 12-25, 25-19, and 2-15). The Ladycats are now 2-1 in league and will host the Rams Wednesday (September 15).

JV Details: Heaven Fenstermaker had one ace serve.  Daysah Parker-Bullion gave the assist for Destiny Cisneros’ kill.  Anisia Rios had one back row kill.  Tui Young had 2 kills for the night.  Lindie Stewart had 2 ace serves and one kill. Haley Christeson had 4 ace serves and Shakinah Dowell had 5 ace serves.  Jadyn Bauer had 3 ace serves and 4 assists.

Varsity Details: Senior Hailee Jenkins play solid defense and had one ace serve. Junior Gabby Wunderlee had one kill for the night.  Senior Leah Engesser had one solo block and one kill.  Freshman Jenica Silvas had four assists for the ladycats.  Junior Itzel Solorio served up two aces and had two kills.  Senior Gianna Bilderain had one ace serve and four kills.  Sophomore Kyla Palpallatoc had four kills.  Senior Kaelina Palpallatoc had eight assists.  Senior Mya Chacon played solid defense and served up four ace serves and had five kills.
