If you are out today doing some holiday shopping – as most are every weekend in December – swing by the Yucca Valley Walmart where Basin Transit has teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club to fill a bus with new toys for families who are feeling the financial pinch this year.
New unwrapped toys will go a long way in helping Morongo Basin families make Christmas morning extra special for kids – and all donations received will benefit those families through the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi Desert.
That’s taking place at the Yucca Valley Walmart all day today – from 8AM to 6PM. You can’t miss it, look for the bus buzzing with reps from Basin Transit and the Boys and Girls Club, and drop off a toy to make a child’s holiday season special.
