Sky’s the Limit Observatory & Nature Center hosts dance performance and master class March 25

Listen here:

Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center hosts Alchemy Arts Collective for an evening exploring astronomy and the art of dance on Saturday, March 25.

Campus opens at 4:00 pm and guests are encouraged to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes, and dress in layers to accommodate unpredictable desert temperatures.

The Performance starts at 4:30 pm and the Master Class at 5:00 pm. During the performance, each dancer will choose a constellation that is currently in the sky to inspire their movements. Following the performance, adults and children are invited to participate in a Master Class – experiencing how dancers use conceptual tasks and ideas to inspire movement for choreography. The class does not require any training in dance.

The program is free and open to the public, but tickets are limited and must be reserved in advance online at www.skysthelimit29.org/special-events.
