“Seis de Mayo” at Johnson Valley Community Center today (5/6)

If you thought Cinco De Mayo was fun, then prepare yourself for a 2nd round at the Johnson Valley Improvement Association’s Margarittaville Bar and Grill this afternoon on the 6th of May.

The bar will be setup under the shade pergola at the front entrance of the community center starting at 3PM and the Taco Grill will be serving at 6. They will have carne asada, beef, pork, or chicken with salsa rice and beans.

Admission is $12 per person and includes a free margarita along with those tacos and a desert from the famous Cinco Cupcake Bar. Another margarita is only another $3. Enjoy the spring weather and presume the Paul Van Book Desert Dreams Garden right next door, and the garden railway should be in action.

Bring cash or checks – credit cards aren’t accepted.

The Spring Fling Country Craft Fair is happening in Lucerne Valley on Sunday from 9AM to 3PM. This free event put on by the Lions Club will feature craft booths, hay rides, food and more! The fair starts on Sunday at 9am and goes until 3 – 

The craft fair is right off Highway 247 in scenic Lucerne Valley at 30200 Del Oro Road.
