Second Saturday Art Crawl tonight in Joshua Tree

Art Queen presents: Form and Fire, an all-female group show specializing in ceramics, featuring Reeyna Daniel, April Adewole, Mary Dennis, and Kim Martin. On display will be a variety of sculptural and wall hung ceramic creations which transcend the known, conventional usage of this medium, by offering unusual shapes and perspectives from vessels of both beauty and functionality. Opening reception from 6-8 with refreshments. 

La Matadora presents Viva La Luchadora! Plus Defiled: Part Siete Art Party group show from 6-9, featuring live music from two touring bands from Tuscon, AZ: Bug Club at 7 PM and The Websites at 8 PM. Luchador masks will also be for sale. 

The Luchadora mania doesn’t stop there—across the street will be the Mucha Lucha Gemini Party at Taylor Junctions Punk Rock Museum, featuring Tequila Mockingbird, The Karma Dealers, Cat Museum, and Mucha Lucha pillow fighting at 9PM. 

Further connecting the art punk constellation in downtown Joshua Tree, Rock & Rapture will be featuring original signed and numbered limited edition Punk Rock photos by the Iconic SF Punk Photographer Ruby Ray, with photos of Exene Cervenka of X, The Cramps, Sid Vicious, Darby Crash, Alice Bag, The Avengers and more. Ruby’s book is also available which features over 200 of her incredible photos. 

And finally, Hey There Projects presents: West of Yesterday, a desert themed group show. Opening reception from 6-9
