Second Saturday Art Crawl at Joshua Tree Art galleries and shops tonight (2/8)

Tonight is the very first second Saturday of 2025 which means downtown Joshua Tree’s galleries will open for the monthly Joshua Tree Art Crawl.

Hey There Gallery debuts a solo show called “Talismans” featuring the paintings of Fred Stonehouse, whose work will be seen in Joshua Tree for the first time. There will be a reception from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

La Matadora kicks off a new group show called “Blah Blah Blah,” featuring text-based art work from Aaron Sheppard, Alea Bone, Beth Allen, Clair Case, Coco Hall, Colleena Hake, Damien Gossett, Dianne Bennett, Exene Cervenka, Frau Sakra, Jill Emery, Jina Imani, Joanna Szachowska, Judy Lichtman, Kate McCabe, Laura Bogner, Manuel Abril, Maryam Ghaffari, Steffi Sutton, Teresa Watson, Tony Buhagiar and Wendy Lee Gadzuk. There will be a reception from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. featuring Freak Family Road Show.

Coyote Little debuts a group show called “Western Romance,” featuring art from Al Marcano, Teresa Watson, Kat Johnson, Gareth Stehr, Melody Jean Moutlton, Panda Landa, Nekoes, Matt Howse, Tonya Van Parys, Brady Willlmott, and Claudia Jamie with music by Traci Warren. There will be a reception from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Beatnik Lounge will be debuting a new David Lynch themed community art show called the Art Life. A reception will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

All of these galleries are close together, so park at one and walk to the others.
