Save the date: Johnson Valley Painted Rocks Restoration resumes July 19

The Johnson Valley Painted Rocks Restoration Project is holding their next graffiti and garbage cleanup on July 19th beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The group is led by the Johnson Valley Community Neighborhood Watch and will continue efforts to remove graffiti and trash from the painted rocks area out near Ghost Road on Highway 247. The area is BLM land and is a popular spot for taggers and illegal trash dumping.

Come out and help as little or as much as you can. Even a half hour of garbage cleanup or graffiti cover-up is a big help.
