The latest monthly figures from the DQ news report show house payments in San Bernardino County went up a whopping 40% in May while sales went down 9%. Two thousand seven hundred and fifteteen houses were sold making it the 10th busiest May of the thirty-five since 1988. The figures show a 6% decrease from April.
Sales have fallen in this 30-day period from an average 5.0% increase. The 12-month change shows a 9.2% decrease. Pre-pandemic May sales were 6% above the 2,562 average buying pace of the month from 2010-2019. The median home price is $520,000 for all residences, up 0.1% in the month, up 20.4% over 12 months.
This breaks the county’s median’s record of $519,500 set in April.
