San Bernardino County Board expected to approve $350k Pioneertown Rd. work

In San Bernardino tomorrow (September 24, 2024) County Supervisors hold their regular twice-monthly meeting at 10 o’clock.  Tomorrow’s agenda carries one item of particular interest to anyone who drives Pioneertown Road between the community of the same name and Yucca Valley.

Tomorrow’s consent calendar includes notice of a contract award for the replacement of approximately a half mile of guardrails on Pioneertown Road north of Yucca Valley. The project has been identified as a priority based on engineering studies. Cost of the project will be just over $350,000; completion is expected by February 2025.

The video conferencing center at the Bob Burke Government Center in Joshua Tree will not be available for public participation in tomorrow’s meeting.
