Recommendations to approve the Yucca Valley Public art policy are on the Town Council meeting agenda for October 4

On the agenda for tonight’s Town Council Meeting is a request to receive and file a final report of the town’s Demographic and review the recommendation to approve the Public Art policy.

The Yucca Valley Town Council will receive and file the notice of completion for the North Park Improvements Project and John Husing’s Demographic Study. Also on the agenda is a professional services agreement with Tripepi Smith for general and special communication services.

Lastly, the council will review the recommendation to approve the 2022 Public Art Policy and Public Art Pilot Program and consider amending the budget to establish a Public Art Fund of $50,000 and $50,000 for the Public Art Pilot Program.

The meeting will be held tonight at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, in the Yucca room, at the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57090 29 Palms Highway.
