Rash of Fights at Yucca Valley High School Concerns Students and Parents

A rash of student violence at Yucca Valley High School is being reported. Parents have said that 25-30 fist fights occurred at the school just yesterday (September 21), though teachers have indicated that the number of fights yesterday was less than ten.

Parents of students at Yucca Valley High School have contacted Z107.7 News concerned with safety on the campus after the series of fights yesterday throughout the school, and this station has received videos of some of the fights, which have also been posted on social media.

One parent said that the fights have been going since the very first day of school and have been escalating daily in number and violence. Z107.7 has contacted the School administration and the Sheriff’s Department for comment and the status of any investigation. This story is developing, and we will update with more information as it becomes available.
