Pop-Up ‘Precieux Metal Clay’ jewelry shop takes over La Matadora Gallery this Saturday

A pop-up jewelry shop and art gallery are coming to downtown Joshua Tree, launching this Saturday November 11th to run through January 7th.

Jewelry designer Shahasp Valentine and her Rock and Rapture will be taking over La Matadora Gallery, featuring a rotating selection of artist made and vintage jewelry, including local businesses Wild East Imports and Selene Boutique. The popup will feature 28 jewelers in all, in addition to Shahasp’s own work, “Precieux Metal Clay Jewelry.”

Shahasp says “Jewelry is personal, worn on the body, and often celebratory. We become part of the fabric of our community members’ lives. This privilege is not lost on me.”

To bolster the community further, 5% of each purchase will be donated to Mil-Tree, a local veteran outreach organization.

The gallery will launch Saturday November 11th during the Joshua Tree Second Saturday Art Walk, opening early from 11am-8pm. The Gallery is located on the highway at 61857 CA-62 at Park Blvd. in downtown Joshua Tree next to the famous Beauty Bubble.
