Plan the Future: 29 Palms Residents Urged to Participate in Strategic Planning Sessions

Every other year, the city of Twentynine Palms hosts a sort-of ‘brainstorm on the future’ and all residents are encouraged to come with their own ideas about how the city will reach goals over the next two years.

With an eye on its’ future, the city of Twentynine Palms is asking residents to take part in their bi-annual Strategic Planning Sessions scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday. Twentynine Palm-ers with suggestions about how the city might tackle economic development, social equity, and public safety should attend the “visioning workshops” the results of which will inform the city’s strategic plan for the next two years.

Residents will have an opportunity to engage attending City Manager Frank Luckino and various councilmembers and weigh in on issues such as parks and trails, homelessness, workforce development and infrastructure.

Sessions will be held on Tuesday, January 24, and Wednesday, January 25, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Twentynine Palms City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road.
