Pat Todd and the Rank Outsiders, Hot Patooties light up Giant Rock Meeting Room tonight (1/17)

This weekend, horror hounds will be heading to the cinemas to see zombie sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. That’s the franchise that first brought us the swiftly moving, mindless rage-virus infected monsters that terrorize London. But according to one local band… fast zombies are the worst kind.

That’s the Hot Patooties, the popular punk rock quartet featuring Z107.7’s own DJ Kim. And they’ve made two things clear. They much prefer the lurching, Romero-style zombies of Dawn of the Dead, and they want you to come out to see their show at Giant Rock Meeting Room.

The Hot Patooties are opening for a legendary rocker, Pat Todd, formerly of the Lazy Cowgirls. Patt Todd and The Rankoutsiders are visiting from Los Angeles, and they play full-throttle rock and roll in the vein of The Rolling Stones, New York Dolls and Faces.

Whatever your take on the zombie genre, this show is coming to get you.

Saturday’s show kicks off at 7:30 p.m., doors at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and the show is open to all ages. Giant Rock Meeting Room is located at 1131 Old Woman Springs Road in Flamingo Heights.
