For the meeting’s agenda, the MVCSD is planning to host a Community Cleanup Day in January 2025, where volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in various cleanup activities, helping create a healthier and more attractive environment for everyone. It is recommended the Board review, discuss, and approve more details about the event, including the exact date and how residents can get involved.

The Board will discuss and appoint a Board of Supervisors Ad-Hoc Committee, to address certain issues or tasks assigned by the Board of Directors. The Fire Department needs a portable car battery charger, which will significantly enhance the department’s ability to respond to certain incidents and will be looking to the Board to approve this purchase. The Board will discuss the Community Risk Reduction Program, focusing on fire prevention, emergency preparation, and public education.

Lastly, the Board will discuss a Wish List for end of season supplies, to gather essential items to support community services and activities, such as Covington Park’s upcoming tree lighting ceremony.
