MUSD to give presentation on the district’s 2024-25 academic learning progress tonight (12/9)

The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold their regular 6:00 p.m. meeting tonight at Joshua Tree Elementary.

For the meeting’s agenda, Director of Evaluations & Multilingual Learning Dr. Daniele Snider will give a Dashboard Data Presentation, showing the present state of academic learning progress from 2024-25. Director of Professional Development, Instructional, and Enrichment Support Marcella Zamudio will give an update on the Gifted and Talented Education program GATE, designed to identify and support students whose advanced learning needs require enriched, accelerated, or specialized instruction. 

Finally, there will be a public hearing on the 2024-25 Statutory School Facilities Fees Reports with an opportunity for public comment.

The public can attend the meeting at Joshua Tree Elementary School located at 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree, and it starts at 6:00 p.m.
