Superintendent Dr. Patricio Vargas confirmed a successful first week at MUSD, citing the numerous smiles he saw on campus, followed by Assistant Superintendent Amy Woods photo slide show presentation of this positive first week.
Woods also presented two new arts programs to MUSD: Groundworks Arts and the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, which provides funding for afterschool and summer school enrichment programs for TK-6th grade.
Unanimous approval was given to the completion of three infrastructure repairs, as well as changes to the classified hourly/substitute salary schedule.
