MUSD distributing Holiday Recipe Box kits and diapers this Saturday in Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley

This Saturday (November 22) The Morongo Unified School District (MUSD) will be distributing free Holiday Recipe Boxes to all elementary students from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley Elementary.

With fresh ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes that promote healthy choices and family time, each free Holiday Recipe Box includes kits for: fruit salad, salsa, burrito, grilled cheese & tomato soup, southwest baked potato, and yogurt smoothie. Open to all elementary students — one box per student. Students must be present at pickup. Limited quantities available, first come, first served.

And thanks to the Morongo Teachers Association who have donated $6000 worth of diaper supplies that will be available during the food distribution, families can receive free diapers (sizes 1–4) during the event, while supplies last.
