Tonight’s MUSD board meeting at Joshua Tree Elementary will begin with a closed session at 5pm to swear in new and returning board members, and to discuss reorganization of the board.
At 6pm’s open session, action items include: resolution to make information from Statutory School Facilities Report made public, a request to certify MUSD meet its financial obligations for the current fiscal year, and a bid for bleacher upgrades at 29 Palms High School.
Other items for review include: bylaw update to change date requirements for districts to hold annual organizational meeting, and an update to the district’s policy to provide naloxone hydrochloride or other opioid antagonists for emergency medical aid to persons suffering from an opioid overdose.
