The Morongo Valley Art Expo is happening this weekend, and your purchase of local art will help support a number of local do-gooders.

The Morongo Valley Art Expo is a self-guided tour of local artists’ studios throughout Morongo Valley. Four stops will feature 11 different artists showcasing the high-desert’s incredible artistic talent, from two-dimensional painting and illustration to jewelry to metal work.

A portion of each sale will be donated to a worthy cause, including the Mojave Desert Land Trust, Joshua Tree Human Society, Reach Out Morongo Basin, and more.

To participate, look for the signs on the Twentynine Palms Highway directing you to the studios, which will be open today (April 29) and tomorrow (April 30) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
