Registration for the Miracle League 2023 Spring Season is opening up March 27th until April 3rd. The mission of The Miracle League of the Desert is to provide opportunities for local area youth and adults to play America’s favorite pastime, regardless of their ability, disability, or special needs.
It’s a local chapter of a national program, and they have held two seasons every year for the past decade. In the Fall season, the league had over 40 players and their buddies play baseball at Brehm Sports Park – right across from the Boys and Girls Club.
Players attend weekly games each season on Mondays at 6PM. Community members are invited to participate in a variety of roles: buddies, guest umpires, pitchers, announcers, and fans.
The shared goal is to always make the games fun and allow players to be more aware of their abilities at each game night, while being less aware of their limitations. Visit www.MiracleLeague.com for further information.
