The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program is holding a Medicare Annual Enrollment Clinic to help senior and disabled residents review Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans, review current medications, and answer questions. Appointments are needed for each individual to get personalized attention.

A counselor will be available to help individuals understand benefits and enrollment, prescription drug plan coverage, Medicare Advantage plans, supplemental policies (Medigap), employee and retiree coverage, the Affordable Care Act, Medicare limited income assistance programs, and long-term care insurance, as well as provide legal assistance with Medicare appeals and administrative hearings.

In 29 Palms, the Counseling today is at the Senior Center, 6539 Adobe Rd, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Call to see if appointments are available: (760) 367-5780

Please call HICAP at 1-800-434-0222 or 909-256-8369 to schedule an appointment.
