Five of six incumbents on the Yucca Valley Town Council and Twentynine Palms City Council are running unopposed for reelection in the upcoming November 8, general election. After conducting a nomination period in accordance with the California Elections Code, the following have declared and qualified their candidacy:
For Yucca Valley Town Council, running unopposed are:
- Jim Schooler – District 1
- Merl R. Abel – District 3
- Rick Denison – District 5
For Twentynine Palms City Council, running unopposed are:
- Danny Mintz – District 3
- McArthur Wright – District 5
For 29 Palms District 4
- Karmolette O’Gilvie does have a challenger, Octavious Scott.
