The Desert Theatre League, a local non-profit performing arts support organization, announced the recipient of their 2022 scholarship.
The Desert Theatre League, a non-profit public benefit corporation founded in 1987 with the mission of supporting and cultivating theatre in the Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin, announced the recipient of their 2022 Scholarship.
The sole winner of the $1,000 scholarship is Anna Pollnow. She is a recent graduate of Twentynine Palms High School where she excelled in academics. Since participating in her first production in the seventh grade, she has nurtured her love of theater at Theater 29 where she was recently featured as the title character in “Rapunzel”. She has also studied through the Idyllwild’s Arts Academy’s summer program. This multitalented young woman will be attending USC in the Fall and majoring in Theatre Arts and Design.
