LANDLORD ACCUSED OF THREATENING HIS WONDER VALLEY TENANT WITH A GUN

A man who rented property in the Wonder Valley area was placed under arrest Thursday, May 19, after allegedly threatening his tenant with a gun. The victim reported his landlord, Kenneth Cox, showed up at the residence in the 84300 block of McCombie Road at about 2:00 p.m. in a black jeep with no top pointing a gun at him. The tenant said he was in fear for his life and Cox left the property heading west, he described the gun as a black and gray semi-automatic. Investigating deputies located the jeep and Cox with the gun on the passenger’s seat. Kenneth Cox was placed under arrest and booked into the Morongo basin jail for investigation of Felony Assault with a firearm
