Landers Community clean-up this Saturday (3/29) for bulky trash items, tires, and more

This Saturday, March 29, the Landers Homestead Valley Association and County Code Enforcement team up for a one-day community cleanup. Residents of the unincorporated areas in and around Landers are encouraged to bring in trash, tires, and e-waste for recycling.

If you’re bothered by a neighborhood eyesore, illegal tire dump, or your own accumulated trash and you live in Landers or one of the surrounding unincorporated communities, you can take advantage of free trash, tire, and e-waste disposal on Saturday, (March 29, 2025).

It all takes place at Homestead Valley Park on Belfield Boulevard in Landers from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon or sooner if container capacities are reached. Residents may bring up to nine tires (with or without rims) per load. No commercial haulers or hazardous waste accepted.

So load up the pickup with those old tires left along the road, that dead flatscreen, bags of trash, and that awful old mattress on the corner and head to Homestead Valley Park tomorrow (3/29).

Volunteers are needed. For more information, call 760-449-4048.
