A Landers man was arrested for suspicion of possession of stolen property and being a felon in possession of a firearm and body armor. Last weekend, County Sheriff’s Deputies received a report from a man in Wonder Valley that $40,000 worth of property, including farming equipment, had been stolen from him.
After investigation, Sheriffs say they identified a suspect, Bodie Rosson, a resident of Landers, and served a search warrant to his house near the 55000 block of Willow Lane. Sheriffs reported that during the service of the warrant, they recovered the victim’s stolen property in addition to ballistic body armor, ammunition, a firearm, and narcotics.
The Sheriff’s report indicates that, because Rosson is a convicted felon, he was arrested for suspicion of Felon in Possession a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and Felon in Possession of Body Armor in addition to Possession of Stolen Property. Rosson was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and bail was set at $50,000.
