The Twentynine Palms High School LadyCats softball team played a four-game tournament this weekend.
The LadyCats tied Shadow Hills High School, 10-10, the tournament time limit expired.
In the second game, Kaiser High School beat Twentynine Palms, 11-0.
Saturday was a much better day for the LadyCat, who defeated Indian Springs High School 14-3. The second game on Saturday against Palo Verde High School was a close, well-played game, and the LadyCats won 5-3.
Kaitlyn Steffins pitched in three games and came away with one win, one loss, and one tie.
Tori Emhoff got her first win of the season against Indian Springs.
Steffins came away with first team tournament honors with six hits and eight RBIs.
