LISTEN TO THIS STORY HERE:
This afternoon in Yucca Valley, directors at the Hi-Desert Water District have a busy agenda planned for the water agency’s regularly scheduled 4 p.m. meeting (Wednesday, July 20, 2022).
While in Joshua Tree, the Joshua Basin Water District agenda is lite, but the mood should still be elevated following last week’s long-awaited reopening of well 14. That meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.
Following the dispatch of routine items on the consent agenda, directors at the Hi-Desert Water District will consider wastewater delivery methods, hear an update on capital improvement projects, and set the appropriation limit for fiscal 2022-23. The public is welcome to attend remotely.
At Joshua Basin Water District directors will consider a new contract with Emergency Management Services. The public may attend in person or remotely.
