A Joshua Tree man was arrested Friday, accused of driving at deputies. Just before 2 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to the area near Alta Loma Drive and Olympic Road in Joshua Tree where they contacted Antonio Garza, 42, in a vehicle. Deputies say that Garza drove at the deputies in an aggressive manner. Deputies were able to stop Garza near Sherwood Road. Antonio Garza was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
