JOSHUA TREE LIBRARY KICKS OFF THEIR SUMMER READING PROGRAM TOMORROW

The San Bernardino County LIbrary System’s Summer Reading Program is having a kickoff event this Saturday, June 4th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Joshua Tree branch. This year’s theme is “Join the Galactic Forces” and readers of all ages are invited to come down and create a space themed bookmark and chart which are both designed to help them meet weekly reading goals. The program encourages developing readers to continue flexing their reading muscles during the summer months when reading tends to fall off. The kickoff event starts at 1PM this Saturday at the Joshua Tree Library –  and it’s free!

If you can’t make it to the event – don’t worry – you can still participate in the reading program by visiting any of your local branches in Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley or Twentynine Palms.
