Later today (October 11, 2022) is a do-over docent meeting for both new and seasoned volunteers at the Joshua Basin Water District. The August meeting was canceled due to triple-digit temperatures.
Today’s hour-long session starts at 5 p.m. in the district’s Water Wise Demonstration Garden located at the District Office at Chollita Road and Park Blvd. in Joshua Tree. The focus will be on the garden’s variety of plants used by Native Americans and early settlers. To join in this free training session RSVP to [email protected] with your name and phone number.
