In addition to tomorrow’s special meeting, the JBWD is continuing to make community outreach a priority through hands-on events throughout the years, and volunteers and docents make those events possible.
Both new and seasoned docents and volunteers for the Joshua Basin Water District are invited to a seasonal training session where the focus on native plants continues. This time the focus will be on edible plants, as well as garden tour opportunities, wildcrafting, and more. The hour-long training session starts promptly at 5:30 p.m. this Wednesday (August 31) in the Water Wise Demonstration Garden located at the District Office at Chollita Road and Park Blvd. in Joshua Tree. Bring a chair and a friend for this enjoyable hour in the garden.
