The Hi-Desert Water District will hold its regular board meeting at 5 p.m. this evening (March 17) in Yucca Valley. And the Joshua Basin Water District convenes at 6:30 in Joshua Tree. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with the Wednesday water roundup…
At the Hi-Desert Water District’s 5 p.m. meeting, the board is expected to adopt some revisions to the district’s employee handbook, and authorize investment of district monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund. And down the highway at the Joshua Basin Water District, there are no action agenda items, but the board is expected to hold its annual review of the reserve policy for information only. The public is invited to observe or participate in both meetings by telephone or on the Zoom platform.
