Hi-Desert Fringe Festival seeking submissions for its Sixth Season

Listen here:

Applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Hi-Desert Fringe Festival.

In its sixth year of showcasing original, non-traditional, provocative performance art, the festival will offer three days of performances, improv, film, music and workshops presented by an array of artists May 19-21 at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center.

The theme of this year’s festival is “As above, so below.”

The theme is an acknowledgment to the collaborative atmosphere between the hi and lo desert theatre communities which have both participated over the years in the annual Fringe Festival. The festival will be hosted festival co-founders Miri Hunter and Ann Van Haney. Performers interested in being a part of this annual event can fill out the application form on the festival website hidesertfringe.org.

Deadline for applications is March 15.
