Grocery Outlet launched its twelth consecutive Independence From Hunger Food Drive to combat food insecurity.
Through July 31, the campaign will collect cash donations and pre-made bags of nonperishable foods in-store at Grocery Outlet’s Yucca Valley location that will be distributed to the Morongo Basin Unity Home, a longtime local domestic violence shelter and counseling center.
Customers can visit their local Grocery Outlet and participating by donating $5 or more in a single transaction and receive a coupon for five dollars off a future purchase of twenty-five dollars or more.
Purchase a pre-made bag and place it in a collection bin at the front of the store or make an in-store donation at the register.
