FREE CONCERTS IN YUCCA VALLEY AND TWENTYNINE PALMS TONIGHT

Residents of the Morongo Basin have the opportunity to be delighted by two different free concerts tonight – one in Yucca Valley and one in Twentynine Palms.

The Town of Yucca Valley’s Summer Music Festival wraps up tomorrow night (August 13) at the Community Center Softball fields with the sounds of the British Invasion. We’re talking about “My Generation,” the incredible tribute band. They will be playing classic hits by British acts like the Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, and more.

The hosts of Z107.7’s Morning Show – Cody Joseph and Jef Harmatz – will be there to give away a prize. The concert is from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, and gates open at 6:30 p.m. Food and drink will be available at the concert. All ages are welcome, and admission is free. Z1077 and the Hi-Desert Star are media sponsors of this event.

Can’t get enough music? Also happening tomorrow night, you’ll be in good company at a free show at Tortoise Rock Casino, when “The Bad Company Experience” rocks the stage. The casino’s free, all-ages concert series continues with this “Bad Company” tribute band. The show has a new start time of 9 p.m. so you can beat the heat at the outdoor concert area, where there’s plenty of seating or you can bring your own lounge chairs. Don’t miss this pack of straight shooters here to entertain the high desert.
