Fall Planting: Deep Watering and Plant Hacks from Morongo Basin Conservation Association

The Morongo Basin Conservation Association has announced that they have produced a few new videos for your viewing pleasure. During the pandemic they created videos for their popular Landscape Tour series, and they said those were so popular that they’ve decided to continue creating content for desert dwellers.

Their new videos are timely – one is about deep watering techniques that help native plants establish strong roots by seeking h2o closer to where it naturally flows underground. The second video is on planting hacks – where to place a native plant, the type of soil it will thrive in, and how to handle rootbound or problematic plants.

Those two videos along with their landscape tour videos are all available on their website – mbconservation.org.

If all this plant talk has your green thumb itching, don’t forget to listen to the Unique Garden Show with Mike Branning every Saturday here on Z107.7, and it’s also available as a podcast online.
