Desert Soul Club spinning 45’s tonight to benefit Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter

The Desert Soul Club is coming up the hill to add a little mod, soul, and funk into downtown Joshua Tree this Saturday Night. DJs Bob Deck, Greg Tormo, and Z107.7’s own Lee Joseph will be spinning wax from hitmakers in the 60’s and 70’s as well as digging deep for some hard-to-find floor stompers. The doors open to Taylor Junction at 6pm, and there will be stacks of northern soul, R&B, mod, motown, garage and psychadelia hitting the platters so you can get out of the desert heat and move your feet to some soulful throwback beats.

You’ll feel extra good cutting it up on the dance floor as the entire night is in support of the Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter, which will be breaking ground on their expanded kennels on September 25th, and they have a new website where you can scroll through cats and dogs who would love to be your furever dance partner.

There is a $20 suggested donation – but bring whatever you can afford as it’s all going to a good cause. That’s Desert Soul Club, spinning hard to `find holy grails for you to stomp, shout, and work it all out on the dance floor this Saturday at Taylor Junction – located in downtown Joshua Tree at 61732 Twentynine Palms Highway. Doors open at 6PM!
