The Desert Institute is offering a class on growing and utilizing California desert plants as part of their 2nd Friday Old Schoolhouse Lecture Series.
Join Yanina Galvan to learn how to have a beautiful yard and help the environment by cultivating California native plants.
Galvan’s goal is to get people excited about growing native plants and their many uses as food and cosmetics while helping to prevent fires, create healthy soil and help native pollinators.
This lecture is in person at the 29 Palms Historical Society on Friday, June 10th at 7pm. Admission is $15 at the door.
