County Sheriff out on max DUI enforcement tonight (3/16)

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department announced that they will be out on Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence. It’s St. Paddy’s day weekend which means more people will be out celebrating – there’s no law against that. However – impaired driving is against the law, and that means alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, or anything that impairs your driving and makes you more dangerous on the road – not only to yourself and your passengers, but everyone else too.

Drivers caught driving impaired and charged with a first-time DUI face an average of $13,500 in fines and penalties, as well as a suspended license. Have fun this weekend and plan ahead for a safe and sober ride home.
