Among the many agenda items at tomorrow’s (September 26, 2023) 10 o’clock county supervisor meeting in San Bernardino, the board is expected to authorize funds for storm-related repairs.
Supervisors are expected to approve four million dollars for road and bridge repairs in the wake of Tropical Storm Hilary and an additional three million dollars for storm-related repairs to county flood control facilities.
The funds will be shared among a dozen unincorporated communities, Joshua Tree among them. The County Department of Public Works will oversee the repairs. An emergency designation will allow the work to commence immediately and not be delayed by the competitive bidding process.
