If Thursday’s meeting of Copper Mountain College’s Board of Trustees was any indicator how fall semester will be, the students will be in good hands. Reporter Eric Knabe provides the highlights…
From the repaving of Rotary Way, to the delivery of the new modular buildings for the Student Success Center, the anticipation is that everything will be ready to go for the start of the fall semester at Copper Mountain College. The College Kick-Off is Friday, August 18, beginning at 9:00 a.m. This is an opportunity for new students to familiarize themselves with the campus and to meet college staff and their professors. They will also have a DJ, a lot of fun activities, and lunch provided by Bruce’s Place. Among those items approved on the action agenda was for paid daycare for the children of the Adult Education Students, to be handled by the Adult Education Block Grant Consortium in partnership with the Neverland Child Care Center.
